Refund Policy

At EduChecker, we strive to provide high-quality AI-driven document verification. Because our service provides immediate digital value (verification reports), our refund policy is designed to be fair to both the customer and the platform.
As our payments are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record), all refund requests are handled in accordance with their standard procedures and our specific terms below.
One-Time Credits & Bundles (Pay-per-check)
You are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied with the service. Please contact support@educhecker.io or Paddle.com to initiate a refund.
Subscription Plans (Team & Business)
You are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied with the service. Please contact support@educhecker.io or Paddle.com to initiate a refund.
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time. Once canceled, you will retain access until the end of the current billing cycle.
Ineligibility for Refunds
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- cancel The user "disagrees" with the AI Fraud Score (the AI provides a probability assessment, not a legal guarantee).
- cancel The user uploaded a low-quality or illegible document that the AI could not process correctly.
- cancel The user no longer needs the service after the 14-day window has passed.
- cancel Account suspension due to a violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., unauthorized scraping or API abuse).
Official University Verification (Step 2)
Fees for Official University Verification are non-refundable once the request has been submitted to the educational institution, regardless of the institution's response (e.g., if the university confirms the document is fake, the service is considered fully rendered).
How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund, you can:
- mail Contact our support team at support@educhecker.io with your Order ID and the reason for the request.
- open_in_new Contact Paddle.com directly via their Customer Support portal.
